Who are z2z?

Who we are

Are you a real business?

We are a real business, established in 1994. We publish our phone number, address and email so that you can always get in touch easily.

Where are you?

We’re based in the United Kingdom with offices in Wilton, Wiltshire and in Ilfracombe, Devon. You can contact us easily.

How do we work with you?

How we work to make business easy, enjoyable and successful

Can I be sure of confidentiality?

Often we are asked to write, edit or proofread commercially sensitive material or confidential documents, such as company reports, business cases and tenders. We regularly proofread brochures and catalogues before publication, sometimes when commercial data, such as pricing details, are still being finalised.

You can be assured that we will maintain total confidentiality when working with such material and are happy to sign non-disclosure agreements where you require this. Where we print out confidential documents, we shred them afterwards in high security DIN 4 standard commercial shredders. Whatever level of confidentiality you require, we can meet this.

Do you always meet deadlines?

We take your deadlines very seriously and are proud not to have missed a deadline. If there was any reason to delay a project, we would contact you as soon as we knew.

Do you charge VAT?

VAT is added to all our charges at the standard UK rate of 20%.

How do you start projects?

We start by discussing your requirements to establish what you want to achieve. We’ll suggest the best ways to achieve this and quote prices, so you know how much each option will cost. When we have agreed the detailed brief, delivery schedule and price, we’ll begin work.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We offer you several ways to pay for our services:

  • BACS or direct bank transfer
  • PayPal (by credit or debit card)
  • Cheque

We prefer BACS or PayPal where possible and appreciate your prompt payment on satisfactory completion of work or at agreed stages of a project.

pressme

Our pressme fixed-price article copywriting service

Can we use your pressme services if we are a large business?

pressme was developed as an efficient and affordable service for SMEs, but we are happy for any size of business to use it.

How does the pressme ‘Research & write’ article service work?

  1. Purchase your article(s).
  2. We agree deadline(s) with you.
  3. We ask you questions about what format you want the article in (eg article, blog, case study, press release), the topic, what your message is, what information you have already, what information we need to research, whether any interviews are required, the tone of voice you want to use and what action you want readers to take.
  4. We conduct the research and carry out any interviews by phone or video.
  5. We discuss the research and interviews with you to ensure we have all content you want included.
  6. We write the article.
  7. We send the article to you to review.
  8. We make any amendments you require – depending on how fast you advise what changes you want and how soon your deadline is.
  9. We send the article to interviewees for them to approve or alternatively you can do this.
  10. We make any final amendments required.
  11. We send you the finished copy.
  12. Subject to agreement, we can upload the article to your web site.
How does the pressme ‘Write up’ article service work?

We write up articles from information you already have, using our journalism skills to identify what is needed for the article. Our process runs like this:

  1. Purchase your article(s).
  2. We agree the deadline(s) with you.
  3. We ask you questions about what format you want the article in (eg article, blog, case study, press release), the topic, what information you have, what your message is, the tone of voice you want to use and what action you want readers to take.

  8. Subject to agreement, we can upload the article to your web site.
How strictly do you stick to the word count?

We write short articles up to 400 words and long articles between 401 and 1,000 words. We will allow some leeway if we find the number of words creeps over the word count slightly. If you decide you want a significantly longer article than the one you have paid for, we will discuss upgrading.

What are the prices of your pressme services?

Prices for each pressme service showing the amount before VAT is applied and the total including VAT are displayed in the online store.

What discounts does pressme offer for more than one article?

When you select the 5 or 10 article services, you receive 5% and 10% discounts respectively on the price of a copywriting for a single article.

What is the difference between the article ‘Write up’ and ‘Research and write’ services?

Use the Write Up service when you have all the information we need to write your article, blog, case study or press release – we will write it up from this information.

Use the Research and Write service when you want your article, blog, case study or press release to be about a specific topic and you need us to do the research.

Will your pressme copywriting service meet my urgent deadline?

We try to meet every deadline, but this will depend on a number of factors. If your deadline is within 48 hours, call us on 0333 0444 354 as soon as possible and we will do all we can to write your article in time.

Copywriting

Details about our freelance business copywriter services

What copywriting experience do you have?

We have written for corporate clients, magazines, newspapers and web sites for many year.

Will I own the copyright of text you write for me?

Usually, a copywriter will own the copyright of text they write. This gives them certain control over where their writing is published and their permission has to be sought if anyone else wants to use that material.

When you commission writing from Zarywacz, we assign ownership of the copyright to you when we receive the agreed payment.

This means that you are free to use the material we have written for you however you wish, in any format and as many times as you want. You can use it in your marketing material, in magazines and newsletters, on web sites and blogs, as press releases or articles, or all of these. After payment, there is no restriction on how you use the material.

We recommend you check out copyright ownership of any copywriting or creative services you commission to ensure there are no restrictions on how you use the finished text, images or other materials.
